This is a really cracking yarn. Not too high-brow nor too trashy. Just right. Very believable and painfully funny, yet moving. Just over 200 pages of great entertainment. Anyone who has ever worked will identify with this. Mark Edmondson has really hit the spot.

Mark Edmondson is the author of 'Making It', an intruiging David and Goliath story set in the world of business in early 2000s England. The central character, Laurie, sets up and runs a provincial business which becomes unexpectedly successful.Yet the more success he gets, the greater his problems and challenges become. Then he meets the ruthless, corporate City crook, Chas Wray. Will Laurie do the deal of his life with Wray or become yet another of his miserable victims?
