Categorization is odious. There is tremendous overlap among genres. These pigeonholes are offered only as a convenience.

Bimbos of the Death Sun is one of the funniest books I've ever read. Don't let the title turn you off. It's a murder mystery set at a sci-fi/fantasy convention. Since it was written in 1986, some of the jokes may go over the heads of younger readers, but there are enough references to classic sci-fi that anyone should find something to laugh about.
