I've only read The Jungle, but it is a good book and I've read it twice. It is famous for its portrayal of meat packing in Chicago, but the book has always hit me more as a Socialist tract, with its story of a worker trying to find a good job in America. While I'm not a Socialist i still find the book an interesting way to look into other's life experiences.
