Another Literary Scandal

If James Frey turned his fiction: into narrative gold, to only see it exposed as a fraud by www.thesmokinggun.com/ He, should of first turned to Jimmy Santiago Baca for advise. He, has skillfully flown below the radar of investigative reporters since the publishing of his memoir A Place To Stand (2001).

A Place To Stand: has never reached any best seller list, however, Jimmy Santiago Baca has masterfully manipulated public sympathy as a Chicano illiterate, who, taught himself to read and write in prison. But, he has taken his inspirational story one step further and successfully conned the academic world into believing his clever tale. So talented is Jimmy Santiago Baca, that he has managed to of been awarded a honorary doctorate from the University of New Mexico (2003).

Please take the time to review my blog in it's entirety) it contains information about his brazenness: to tell bigger lies, than James Frey could of ever imagined.

I have reported you to the jimmysantiagobaca.com website and was informed that you were turned down as a potential intern and that you have been trying to post negative articles about Mr. Baca. How sad you are such a psycho. I pray for you to find peace. I have heard Mr. Baca and I am an avid reader of all his books. The hope that is alive in his poetry for young men and women that have lost their way is commendable and a must read for all. He has a book entitled Poems along the Rio Grande. The poetry is inspirational as only Mr. Baca can deliver. If you happen to be in NM or Arizona or anywhere Jimmy Santiago Baca is speaking please stop in to take in the words of a modern day poet that may not have come of age with a silver spoon in his mouth but much like most of our jente. Please don't listen to the foulness of the individual above.

Baca must be taken with several grains of salt. In “A Place to Stand”, he states that he disemboweled a hit man sent to "take him out", editor's quotes, not his, of La EME, THE MEXICAN MAFIA. In addition, that ultimately Baca walked out of Arizona State Prison with no retribution form EME or the Mexican Mafia. This is pure factual and historical fantasy by BACA. I know EME, I know La Familia, and I know the “BRAND”.

One never walks away from these people, HIGEST RESPECT FOR THEM, when they want you dead. NEVER. Baca presents pure fantasy at several places in a Place to Stand, They are not viable from a prison culture, or the dope dealing culture as it was when he states that he was in it.

Remember, one never walks away from these people, HIGEST RESPECT FOR THEM, when they want you dead. NEVER. Esta es verdad. This is truth
