It was A wrinkle in time that started me on the journey of SciFi and fantasy and the paranormal. It had first come out that year or so and I was hooked. I read Moom by Night, but by the time the rest of the books had been published I had moved on to romance. All I can say is A Wrinkle in Time was a wonderful book to get lost in. A definite read for that first fledling step into SciFi.

"A Wrinkle in Time" is a classic, and deservedly so. It can't hurt to start there.
