I am a mystery fan. But I do enjoy the odd little adventure with a touch of mystery in which no one get killed! What I find attractive in John Galavan's work are the locations (coast of Oregon), plentiful birds (I love my birds!) and the odd assortment of people that come to the bed and breakfast. It's that crazy B&B that attracts some of the oddest things! People I mean.

I would start reading Galavan with Mastering Evil because it was published first. Best, I almost forgot, is that there is a continuing core group of people and birds that must deal with the oddly destructive visitor to the Little Bird'N B&B. But hey, Monks is great!!

John Galavan has written nine books within The Little Bird'N bed and breakfast series. "Mastering Evil" and "Monks in the Marsh" are two that are currently available. These are cozy mystery adventures set in a B&B on the lonely northern coast of Oregon. New guests bring their problems each week and some would make your hair stand on end!
